Kenyan national,Dr. Alice A. Ochanda, PhD, Head, Programme Coordination and Evaluation Unit, (SC/EO/PCE) Executive Office of the Natural Sciences Sector and Focal Point for Global Priorities-Africa & Gender Equality, received an award and Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation for 30 years of service to UNESCO, at a long-service awards ceremony held at UNESCO Headquarters, 17 October 2025.
In attendance was Ms. Maina, Minister at the Permanent Delegation of Kenya to UNESCO and focal point for the Natural Sciences Sector at the Delegation.
