The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) board members recently participated in a one-day workshop on the basics of governance and the role of the board audit committee, facilitated by Ambassador Prof. Peter Ngure.
The training offered the board an opportunity to reflect on their leadership and governance approaches, understand how audit strengthens their oversight role, and identify key changes needed to optimize performance at IPOA.
As part of their visit to Paris, the board members also paid a courtesy call to the Kenyan Embassy in France, further strengthening institutional ties and showcasing Kenya’s commitment to strong governance practices.
