Kenya Reaffirms Commitment to Global Cooperation in Higher Education Recognition

Paris, 24 June 2025 — Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, Principal Secretary for Higher Education and Research, delivered Kenya’s national statement at the 2nd Session of the Intergovernmental Conference on the Global Convention on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications, held at UNESCO Headquarters.(24–25 June 2025)

She reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to advancing international academic mobility, strengthening regional cooperation, and promoting transparent qualification systems to benefit students, researchers, and institutions.

Kenya’s active role in the conference reflects its dedication to building stronger global partnerships in education and ensuring that higher education remains a driver of innovation, opportunity, and sustainable development.
