Kenyan Artist Shines at the Paris Photo Exhibition

It was a great pleasure for Amb. Ngure to attend the Paris Photo Exhibition on Wednesday 6th November 2024, where a Kenyanartist Ms. Thandiwe Muriu, presented her new works. Ms. Muriu is one of the most prominent African photographers (living and working in Nairobi). In her latest series, Woven Voices, she honours the Kenyan kanga, a traditional cloth of communication, celebrating its layered design of decorative borders, motifs, and inscriptions as a symbol of individual and collective identity.
