As part of the 2025 Edition of Africa Week at UNESCO, the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Kenya to UNESCO proudly hosted a side event celebrating a landmark moment for cultural heritage on the continent. The event highlighted Kenya’s recent hosting of the International Conference on Cultural Heritage in Africa: A Dialogue on the Concept of Authenticity, and provided an opportunity to share with Member States the way forward with the Nairobi Outcome on Heritage and Authenticity and its key objectives.
