Paris, 24 June – 3 July 2025 — Kenya has been re-elected as a Member of the Executive Council, Group V, during the IOC–UNESCO General Assembly in Paris.
This re-election reflects Kenya’s active role in advancing ocean science, capacity building, and sustainable development, and highlights its continued commitment to the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021–2030).
