Kenyan Talent on Show: On the Road to Annecy Forum
Kenya’s Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Ambassador Prof. Peter Ngure, together with Ms. Eva Maina, Minister at the Permanent Delegation of Kenya to UNESCO, had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Kahenya Kangethe of Studio Zubaa for a courtesy visit to the Delegation.
Mr. Kangethe is among the 10 animation studio finalists from East Africa selected to represent the region in the prestigious Road to Annecy programme, a flagship initiative sponsored by Air France. The programme offers selected studios the opportunity to attend MIFA, the world’s largest market for animation professionals, held in June 2025 in Annecy, France.
Kenya is proud to showcase its growing animation industry on the global stage, with Studio Zubaa leading the way.
